For hemorrhoids: The cream forms a soothing layer on the skin around the anus. Zinc sulfate protects the skin and helps the hemorrhoid shrink slightly. It also reduces itching and pain. The effect begins immediately. Your symptoms will disappear completely in about two weeks. If your symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

For cold sores: Has a drying effect and reduces pain.

Hemorrhoids: Apply the cream to the skin around the anus once or twice a day and after each bowel movement. You can use a finger condom for this. These are available at pharmacies.

Cold sores: Apply thickly (do not smear) 4 – 6 times a day, only to the painful area or on the blisters, continue until the blisters have dried up.
