Xiromed Minoxidil 2% is a solution for topical use. It is used to treat male-pattern and female-pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia).

Male-pattern hair loss is characterized by a bald crown, with a fringe of hair remaining around the head. Female-pattern hair loss is characterized by thinning or hair loss at the parting.

Usage

Use this medication exactly as directed or as stated in the package insert. The recommended daily dose is 1 ml twice a day (10 sprays when using the dosing pump). The maximum daily dose is 2 ml.

As a woman, you should wash your hands extra carefully after use. If the product comes into contact with other parts of the body, there is a risk of hair growth elsewhere.
