Simplex Basic Ointment is suitable for dry skin. The petroleum jelly in this ointment provides a higher lipid content and coats the skin. It helps protect the skin, reducing water loss and keeping it hydrated. Paraffin ensures good spreadability. This makes the ointment particularly suitable for the thin, delicate skin of the eyelids, eyebrows, and mucous membranes.

Unless otherwise prescribed, apply twice a day. You can use the ointment for as long as you need it.
