Macrogolum 4000 contains the active ingredient macrogol 4000 and belongs to a group of medications called osmotic laxatives. It adds fluid to the stool in the intestines, making it softer and larger. This helps resolve very slow bowel movements.
It is not absorbed into the bloodstream and is not broken down by the body.
