When not to use?

Never use white petroleum jelly on fresh burns or blisters. Sealing the skin with white petroleum jelly prevents it from dissipating heat. Applying white petroleum jelly is permitted as soon as a burn or blister begins to heal (dry out). Moisturizing the affected skin with white petroleum jelly accelerates healing.

This product is recommended as basic skin care. It can support, but not replace, medicinal treatment.
