Usage
- Immediately rinse the skin with plenty of lukewarm running water for a maximum of 5 minutes.
- Then, using a spatula, apply a half-centimeter-thick layer of calcium gluconate gel to the affected area. Also apply the calcium gluconate gel under and on the nails.
- After 2 minutes, rinse off the layer and apply a new half-centimeter-thick layer.
- Repeat this until the pain goes away or until medical help arrives.
- Allow the last layer to dry on the skin.
- Are your hands affected? Then fill latex gloves with the gel and wear them.
- Close the tube tightly to prevent spoilage. You can use the same tube for one week after opening; after that, it will expire.
How long?
The doctor will usually advise you to continue applying the gel to the affected areas for 3 to 4 days after the accident.
